Face coverings are now part of our lives to protect ourselves and others from Covid 19.
There are a growing number for sale, in a wide variety of fabrics and designs. As lovers of natural fabrics, we believe that it’s important to choose a mask that will cut down on the harmful chemicals that we’ll be breathing in, as well as being a comfortable, breathable face covering for our own and our community protection.

With a double layer of handwoven fabric our organic cotton face masks offer protection for personal use whilst being comfortable, natural and re-usable. Our masks are plastic free so we don’t use elastic – the string ties can be tied around your head or used to make ear loops. Both methods mean the size can be easily adjusted, fitting children as well as adults.
Thank you so much for sending us your mask selfies – some of which we have added to our gallery on this page!
Each pack purchased will give a donation to UK Charity The Trussell Trust and the khadi social enterprise in India Gram Sewa Mandal, Gopuri where the cotton is grown and processed.
During lockdown the masks were sewn in the UK by a team of tailors from Where Does It Come From?, Khadi London and Couchman Bespoke. We have since worked with Gram Sewa Mandal to train their team on making our design and received several shipments – creating livelihoods in rural India.
Each mask has a QR code on the wash label so you can explore it’s story and get to know the people involved in creating it, as well as the environment and community friendly processes we use.
We are also working with businesses and organisations to sell our masks wholesale, so if you would like to know more about this please do get in touch using the contact link at the bottom of the page.
Just to give you a taster, here is your mask story – speeded up!
