Our skilled artisans have hand crafted these beautiful children’s shirts using 100% organic cotton, hand dyed them a rich orange and block printed them with tigers. They are beautifully soft as the cotton has been hand spun and the fabric handwoven in a co-operative focusing on rural worker empowerment.
The fabric we’ve chosen for our organic Tiger Shirt is called khadi – a traditional fabric from India that was promoted by Gandhi for it’s benefits to the worker and the environment.
Handwoven fabrics are naturally more breathable which means that this shirt will keep your child lovely and cool on warm days.
As with all our clothing and accessories our Tiger Shirt is ethically made, fair trade and fully traceable. Simply enter the code from the label and you and your child can explore the shirt’s life story and ‘meet’ the people involved.
We have a range of sizes (age 4-11) and designs and the shirt is a great all-year-rounder – simply put a long sleeved top underneath in cooler weather!
