Jo Salter talks Natural Fibres on BBC Suffolk

An interview LIVE from the Festival of Natural Fibres in London in August 2021. In a wide ranging discussion with BBC Radio Suffolk’s Georgy Jamieson, the topics included ethical fashion, plastic in clothing and, of course, the happenings at the festival.

The festival explores a range of natural fibres from hemp and nettle to cotton and wool. Exhibitions, panel sessions, a community quilt and more – all taking place at Craft Central in docklands. Where Does It Come From? founder Jo hosted and took part in panel discussions on Climate Change, British fibres and Indian fibres. It was a well-attended event supported by a range of businesses and education centers.
